HOPE Tutoring

HOPE Tutoring is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides free, individualized tutoring to Arlington's 2nd-8th graders, focusing on children from lower-income families who could not otherwise afford private tutoring. HOPE offers tutoring services after school both virtually and in person, and we work in cooperation with Arlington ISD to bring tutors into schools during Intervention and Enrichment hours. HOPE also offers academic summer camps covering STEM and Language Arts. All of our tutors are community volunteers. Our volunteers are retired professionals, active professionals, college students, and high school honors students. The services provided by HOPE Tutoring are made possible in part through a Community Development Block Grant from the City of Arlington through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. We also receive funding through foundation grants and individual donations.
