One of our Core Values at Fat Straws is Community: we are passionate about fostering connections with the local communities where we do business and doing what we can to help make a difference. This month, we are participating in North Texas Giving Day by providing links to donate to the local organization To Be Link Me on our cups. To Be Like Me is a 501(c)3 nonprofit disability awareness program that breaks down barriers and fosters compassion. Their team provides in-person and online interactions led by people living with disabilities to help others understand their daily lives. The program is geared towards school-aged kids, graduate students, and special groups. Donations made on North Texas Giving Day, now through September 21 using the QR code on our cups will help their organization reach financial milestones that can help qualify them for additional aid.
